The Dolly Dots' comeback tour kicks off in September 2021. The five ladies will give dozens of theater concerts throughout the Netherlands from September 28, 2021 to February 13, 2022, producer SENF Theaterpartners announced.
The famous Dutch girlgroup announced a reunion tour in January 2020. But this had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic. Now Angela Groothuizen, Patty Zomer, Esther Oosterbeek, Anita Heilker and Angéla Kramers are still going into the theaters.
The tour was almost sold out when the corona crisis broke out. The tickets purchased then are valid for the new dates communicated through the theaters. There are still tickets available in Den Bosch, Apeldoorn and the new theater Amare in The Hague.

Dé Nederlandse meidengroep van de jaren 80, de Dolly Dots, gaat weer optreden. De vijf leden van de groep, Angéla Kramers, Anita Heilker, Esther Oosterbeek, Patty Zomer en Angela Groothuizen, maken vanaf komende september 2021 tot februari 2022 een tournee langs Nederlandse theaters. De tournee wordt afgesloten met twee optredens in Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam. Het zesde lid van de groep Ria Brieffies overleed op 20 juli 2009.
De oorspronkelijk uit zes leden tellende groep brak in 1979 door met '(Tell It All About) Boys'. Dat nummer stond dertien weken in de top-40 met de negende plaats als hoogste notering. Andere bekende hits zijn 'Radio' (1979), 'Hela-di-ladi-lo' (1980) en 'Love me just a little bit more' (1983). Ook in het buitenland had de groep succes, in Japan was 'Radio' goed voor platina.

The tour concludes with two performances at the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The sixth member of the group, Ria Brieffies died on July 20, 2009.
The group originally consisting of six members broke through in 1979 with '(Tell It All About) Boys'. That song was in the top 40 for thirteen weeks with ninth place as the highest ranking. Other well-known hits are 'Radio' (1979), 'Hela-di-ladi-lo' (1980) and 'Love me just a little bit more' (1983). The group was also successful abroad, in Japan 'Radio' was good for platinum.
