Danielle Frida Hélène Boccara (29 October 1940 – 1 August 1996) was a French singer of Italian descent and born in Casablanca, who performed and recorded in a number of languages, including French, Spanish, English, Italian, German, Dutch and Russian. Frida won the Eurovision Song Festival in 1969 in Madrid representing France, performing "Un jour, un enfant" (A Day, a Child) with music by Émile Stern and text by Eddy Marnay. The Cats were a pop group from Volendam. They were one of the most successful bands in the Netherlands from 1968 to 1975. The band’s original line up was Cees Veerman, Piet Veerman, Arnold Mühren, Jaap Schilder, Theo Klouwer and (from 1972 to 1975) Piet Keizer. They developed an original music sound that received the name ‘palingsound’ This style inspired many other Volendam artists, such as Maddog, Left Side, Next One and BZN. 'Nightingale' is a great single by Dutch popgroup George Cash from Amsterdam. The group was founded in 1967 the line-up was singer Todje (Barend van Werven) bass guitarist Paul Janssen drummer Herman van Boeyen and keyboard player Marco Klein. With new singer Johnny Frederiksz the group scored two hits in 1969 and 1970 with 'Nightingale' and 'Thanks For The Love' In 1970 the last George Cash line-up consisted of singer Steve Allet (aka Koen Merkelbach), bass guitarist Roel Smits, guitarist Aad van der Kreeft, drummer Paul Lagaay and organist Hessel de Vries. This very rare tv recording was made by AVRO pop tv program Doebidoe on August 30, 1969 'Nightingale' reached no. 10 in the Dutch Top 40 on September 20, 1969. Depois de anos sem postar algum vídeo aqui no Youtube, tô de volta com uma remasterização do rei Roberto Carlos. Muitos anos após a postagem de "Não vou ficar", totalmente despretensiosa mas feita com um carinho imenso, que para minha surpresa foi parar até em um documentário sobre Tim Maia, na GloboNews ( não pensem que mereci $$$algo$$$ por isso, pois sequer fui consultado e na verdade nunca foi minha intenção ser monetizado por postar vídeos com direitos autorais de terceiros, sempre tive a intenção de resgatar ou compartilhar para uma parcela de um povo dito "sem memória" músicas e imagens de artistas que gosto de ouvir e assistir desde a minha infância. Dessa vez, trago "Quando", de autoria do próprio Roberto Carlos. O clipe, extraído do filme ROBERTO CARLOS EM RITMO DE AVENTURA, dirigido por Roberto Farias e que chegou aos cinemas em 1968, se tornando uma das maiores bilheterias nacionais de todos os tempos. Efetuei algumas novas edições e tratamento de vídeo e incluí áudio stereo do vinil. E aí, ficou bom?

1966 gründeten Steve Ellis (Gesang), Maurice Bacon (Schlagzeug), Morgan Fisher (Keyboard), Ian Miller (Gitarre) und Warwick Rose (Bass) die Band "Soul Survivors". Da es bereits eine US-amerikanische Band gleichen Namens gab, änderten sie ihren Namen in "The Love Affair". Ihre Single "Everlasting Love" (1967) stieg in Großbritannien auf Platz 1 der Charts. Das Lied war in den USA zuvor bereits von Robert Knight veröffentlicht worden. Es folgten etliche weitere Hits wie "A Day Without Love" oder "Rainbow Valley" (beide 1968) und auch "Bringing On Back The Good Times" (1969). 1970 löste sich die Band wieder auf. Sänger Steve Ellis hatte mit "Ellis", "The Widowmakers" und später "Steve Ellis's Love Affair" weitere Bandprojekte. Spotlight war eine Musiksendung für die Jugend, die zwischen 1968 bis 1978 vom österreichischen Rundfunk (ORF) ausgestrahlt wurde. Sie war das Pendant zu Beat Club oder Musikladen in Deutschland.
