Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway (previously known as just Scars on Broadway) is an American band, founded by System Of A Down member Daron Malakian (vocals, guitar) alongside with his System Of A Down bandmate, John Dolmayan on drums. The band's eponymous debut album was released on July 29, 2008. At this time the band also included members Dominic Cifarelli (bass guitar, backing vocals), Franky Perez (guitar, vocals) and Danny Shamoun (keyboards, piano, percussion).

On April 16th, 2018, Daron Malakian announced that a lead single from the second album will be released on April 23rd. The band has been re-branded as “Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway”. On April 23, 2018, Daron Malakian released the official video of the song "Lives", also releasing the release date of the Scars On Broadway's new album, titled Dictator, on July 20, 2018.
