* David Ian "Joe" Jackson (11 de agosto de 1954) é um músico, cantor e compositor inglês.
* Aprendeu a tocar violino mas logo mudou para piano e aos 16 anos começou a tocar em bares.
* O único álbum de estúdio de Joe foi "Night and Day" atingindo o nº 3 (Reino Unido) e nº 4 (EUA).
* Joe passou vários anos morando em Nova York, o que serviu de inspiração para sua música de 1982 "Steppin' Out". Em uma entrevista em 2018, Jackson disse: "Eu não gosto muito de Nova York nos dias de hoje. É como se a cidade e eu tivéssemos um caso de amor e agora somos apenas amigos, mas ainda temos que nos ver para continuar amigos. Hoje moro em Berlim. A Nova York que conheci no final de 81 e 82 se foi." Jackson atualmente reside em Berlim, mas também possui casas em Nova York.
* Foi casado por dois anos com uma mulher mas o casamento terminou em divórcio e mais tarde Joe disse que foi um "desastre". Em uma entrevista a um jornal diário irlandês, Joe Jackson afirmou que estava em um relacionamento com um parceiro masculino.
