I Nuovi Angeli ("The New Angels") are an Italian pop band formed in 1966 in Milan. The name refers to the film directed by Ugo Gregoretti in 1962. When this performance has been recorded, the members of the band were: Renato Sabbioni - bass, Alberto Pasetti - guitar, Mauro Paoluzzi - drums and Paki Canzi - piano & vocals.

Spotlight was a music show for the youth, which was aired between 1968 and 1978 by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). It was the counterpart to the shows "Beat Club" or "Musikladen" in Germany.
