Luar (A Gente Need to See the Luar) is an album by Gilberto Gil, released in 1981 by Warner.
The album features songs that would become well-known to the general public, such as the title track of the same name, Cores Vivas, Palco, Flora and Se eu quiser falar com Deus (If I want to talk to God). The track Palco, previously recorded by the band A Cor do Som, é um ijexá, which presents notable influence from the soul and funk band Earth, Wind and Fire, the influence was already noticed in Realce, title track of the album by 1979, which included the presence of the band's arranger, Jerry Hey on keyboards. The album was produced by Liminha, Lincoln Olivetti and Robson Jorge.
