Cherrie Vangelder-Smith is a Dutch singer. In the 1970s, she was a member of the bands Cardinal Point, Album and Cherie, and released songs as a solo artist. Her well-known singles include "Goodbye Guitarman" and "Silverboy".

Spotlight was a music show for the youth, which was aired between 1968 and 1978 by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF). It was the counterpart to the shows "Beat Club" or "Musikladen" in Germany.
