Imagine never running out of content ideas again. Would you blog happily ever after!?
In this video, you'll learn how to find a never-ending stream of blog post ideas (that you can turn into money).
Seriously. I find close to 30 blog topics in the first 5 minutes.
I picked a unique niche to use as an example — the "Reiki" niche.
(Sidenote: reiki is a form of energy healing. It's a sub-niche within the Spirituality and Meditation niche.
My aunt is a Reiki Master and I thought this would be a fun example.
IMPORTANT: If you have not chosen your niche, then you need to do that first.
I made a video for that here: https://studio.youtube.com/video/xKAdY9ZOiLM/edit
The first place I go to find relevant content ideas is Google.
Type in your root keyword (Ex. "Reiki") and then pay notice to the "suggested phrases" that automatically populate in the drop down.
These is known as "Google Autocomplete" or "Google suggested search."
You can also scroll down to the bottom of the page and find them listed there, too.
These search phrases make great blog post topics because they are real search phrases that other people (aka your niche) are typing in.
Jot these down in a notepad.
If you want even more blog post ideas, then open up a new tab for each suggested search and do the same thing over.
You'll start to find "long-tail keywords"
These keywords are usually easier to rank for in search engines (SEO or search engine optimization).
Pro tip: always keep the search intent in mind. If you want to write impactful blog posts, it's important to step into the shoes of the searcher and understand what he/she wants.
The second method to finding blog post ideas is using YouTube suggested search.
It works the same was as Google.
But here's what I found interesting during this tutorial...
The suggested searches for YouTube were very different than the suggested searches for Google.
On YouTube, I noticed keywords that had to do with reiki sounds, like "reiki healing music" and "reiki sleeping music" and "reiki bell"
If you think about it, this makes sense with YouTube being a visual and auditory platform compared to Google with is more text-based.
Just an interesting thing that came up.
The next method is going to Clickbank.
Find the best-selling products in your niche, visit their sales page, and scan their bullet copy and FAQ sections.
You can usually find some great blog topic ideas for different parts of your funnel: top, middle, and bottom.
The last method is Amazon kindle eBooks.
Click your niche.
Some books let you look inside at the first few chapters.
Find the table of contents and use that as inspiration for even more blog post ideas.
The trick is knowing how to turn these blog post ideas into money.
And that comes down to understanding the customer journey, content marketing strategy, and how to bridge the two correctly.
I talk about it in a lot more detail in the video, so check it out!
